A Family of Entertainers and Entrepreneurs

Our journey began in the mid-1980s with “The Maxys,” a family band that entertained audiences across Sydney, Australia. Later, we transformed the Intersection Tavern at Ramsgate Beach into a community-focused live entertainment hub.

Embracing the Digital Age

In 1999, we launched “Maxys Aussie Cyberpub,” Australia’s first online hotel, and in 2000, co-founded “BANGitUP,” a leading online building and construction industry website. Our groundbreaking work building digitally powered communities caught the attention of national media, featuring on TV, radio, and print outlets.

Continuing the Legacy through Digital Marketing and Livestream Video

In 2007, after the tragic loss of our father and co-founder Peter Maxworthy, we sold BANGitUP and continued providing digital marketing services through Max Media. We also invested in CLIVEvideo.com an internet video technology company that supplied professional website presenters to organizations across Australia.

From 2013 to 2018, our CEO, Scott Maxworthy, dramatically increased the social media following of the Cronulla Sharks rugby league team and played a key role in developing their award-winning digital strategy and marketing. We also launched SharksTV, a weekly livestream channel that reached tens of thousands of viewers.

Expanding Our Services to Empower Your Success

In 2019, we introduced The Big Dog Studio, a private live-stream production studio, and broadened our service offerings to include virtual video production, presenter training, and talent management.
