🌅 Maxys Morning Musings: Business Models and Ballparks 🌅
Date: 28th October 2023
Time: 5:03am
Location: BigDog Studio, Sans Souci, Sydney, Australia
Mood: Thoughtful, tinged with the optimism of a new day

🎬 Scene of the Day:
The soft chirping of morning birds permeates the air. Scott sits in the tranquil space of the BigDog studio, a sanctum of creativity and ambition. The room is dim, lit only by the soft glow of a single desk lamp. Outside, the sky is just beginning to lighten, a painter’s palette of muted greys and blues. Harold, the ever-faithful Great Dane, is heard snoring softly in the distance.

🗨️ Internal Monologue:
Ah, the conundrum of focus and scope. This week could’ve been about diving deep into business models, but reality, that ever-persistent taskmaster, has kept me in the operational trenches. It’s the classic entrepreneur’s dilemma: you have to work both in the business and on the business.

For our LED sales, it’s all about honing and refining; using the scalpel of Zapier automation and Ai to make the patient—a.k.a the sales process—more efficient. But the larger question still lingers, can we scale this beast?

Then there’s the NRL venture into Vegas—a gambit that transcends just the game and dives into a world of sports betting, subscribers and potentially seismic revenue shifts. The numbers crunched reveal a revenue playground that could range from $40 million to a whopping $200 million. Tantalising, to say the least.

And that’s just a morning’s worth of pondering before even the first sip of coffee. It’s a buffet of thoughts and calculations that could very well be the meat and potatoes of this week’s blog.

🎸 Soundtrack of the Morning:
“Money for Nothing” by Dire Straits—a track about ambitions and the allure of easy money, fitting for a morning mulling over business models and revenue streams.

To-Do:
Wrap up the week by exploring the Business Model Canvas to my Ai-Sales project. Save some mental juice for next week’s topic: Ideation Methods. Maybe the drive to Wollongong will serve as the ideal backdrop for these musings.

🎥 Fade to Black.
The camera zooms out, leaving Scott to his thoughts as he starts drafting the day’s to-do list, a map of possibilities and challenges. The dawn continues to break outside, heralding another day of endless potential.
