In today’s fast-paced world, businesses need to strive for improvement constantly. Whether through the implementation of new technologies or the reevaluation of existing processes, the key to success lies in adapting and evolving. This is particularly true in marketing and video production, where new advancements and tools are being introduced rapidly. Today we look at AI in Marketing and Video Production.
As a marketer and video producer, I have been experimenting with OpenAI to explore its potential uses in my field.
After providing some reference material, I asked the AI to write a quick intro script.
EXT. BIG DOG STUDIO – DAY
The camera pans across the tropical island, taking in the lush greenery and sparkling blue waters. We see the Maxys building, a modern, high-rise structure, with the BIG DOG STUDIO sign prominently displayed on the top level.
The camera cuts to the inside of the studio, where we see a bustling production team working on various aspects of the show. The stage is set, with several big screens displaying various graphics and footage. We see ZOOM and POWERPOINT on one of the screens.
The camera then focuses on SCOTT MAXWORTHY, the host of the show, as he stands on the stage, looking out over the virtual set. He is dressed in a sharp suit and tie, a microphone in his hand.
SCOTT MAXWORTHY
(to the camera)
Welcome to the Big Dog Studio, folks. This is where the magic happens.
The camera cuts to a wide shot of the studio, taking in the entire set and production team. We see the digital 0s and 1s overlayed on the image, giving it a Matrix-like vibe.
SCOTT MAXWORTHY (V.O.)
(narrating)
We’re at the metaverse’s heart, where technology and marketing converge. And we’re about to take you on a journey, unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.
The camera cuts back to Scott, who winks at the camera before the screen fades to black.
TITLE: MAXY’S IN THE METAVERSE – COMING SOON
FADE OUT.
To be frank – the result is simply amazing (and, to some, scary). I’ll write more about the application to marketing and video later,
I’ve been so caught up in my experiments with OpenAI for marketing and video production that I completely missed the release of NVIDIA’s DLSS for Unreal Engine 5.1. But better late than never, right? I just installed it on our latest virtual set, and let me tell you, the results are pretty impressive. FPS more than doubled, and the visuals look absolutely fantastic. It just shows that there’s always room for improvement, and it’s important to keep an eye out for new technologies that can help push things to the next level. Oh, and a friendly reminder to always challenge the status quo; you never know what you might discover.
